SUMMARY:Battle for Union Gap
DESCRIPTION:This is the second of our 2026 weekend campaign events.  The 20th Maine will be traveling to Yakima\, WA to battle for the town of Union Gap.  This event is in conjunction with Old Town days in Union Gap.  The event site is located at the Central Washington Agricultural museum.  The Civil War weekend event being at the Ag Museum\, provides an excellent opportunity to step back into to may different eras of time.  If you have any questions\, please visit the website for details.  If you have any questions for the 20th Maine\, please see the contact us tab on this website.

SUMMARY:Battle for Evenson Farm
DESCRIPTION:This will be the 20th Maine’s final battle event for the 2026 season.  The very scenic site in Yelm\, WA is a great setting for the weekend battle event.  The Washington Civil War Association will be joined by our Oregon neighbors\, The Northwest Civil War Counsel.  As a combined event\, our numbers will be greater and we will have larger battle scenarios.  For more information regarding the event\, visit the WCWA.net website for information regarding location/times and costs to attend. \nDr. Curt Fields will be our special guest for this event.  Dr. Fields is a nationally recognized General U.S Grant impersonator and will be talking about General Grant.  Dr. Fields has written about General Grant for those who are interested in purchasing a a copy of his book at the event.  The book is entitled “Unconditional Surrender .  Ulysses S. Grant in the Civil War.”  We are very grateful to Dr. Fields for taking the time to come and enhance our weekend battle event.
