SUMMARY:WCWA Skirmish at Creston Crossing
DESCRIPTION:This is our first weekend battle event for the 2026 season.  The 20th Maine will be traveling to Wilbur\, WA to participate in the Skirmish for Creston Crossing.  This event will start on Saturday\, May 23rd  and end on Memorial Day.  This weekend event will have two battles a day on Saturday and Sunday.  Monday will be single battle.  Camps will be open from 9 am to 5 pm.  Lots of cool items on display for the viewing public.  For more info about location\, cost and times\, visit the WCWA website.  For any 20th Maine related questions\, feel free to contact the company under our contact us section of the website.

SUMMARY:Battle for Union Gap

SUMMARY:Battle for Evenson Farm
DESCRIPTION:This will be the 20th Maine’s final battle event for the 2026 season.  The very scenic site in Yelm\, WA is a great setting for the weekend battle event.  The Washington Civil War Association will be joined by our Oregon neighbors\, The Northwest Civil War Counsel.  As a combined event\, our numbers will be greater and we will have larger battle scenarios.  For more information regarding the event\, visit the WCWA.net website for information regarding location/times and costs to attend. \nDr. Curt Fields will be our special guest for this event.  Dr. Fields is a nationally recognized General U.S Grant impersonator and will be talking about General Grant.  Dr. Fields has written about General Grant for those who are interested in purchasing a a copy of his book at the event.  The book is entitled “Unconditional Surrender .  Ulysses S. Grant in the Civil War.”  We are very grateful to Dr. Fields for taking the time to come and enhance our weekend battle event.
